Dr. Cannon was born in Ascension Parish. He graduated from St. Amant High School in 1992 and then matriculated at Centenary College of Louisiana, from which he graduated with departmental honors in 1996. He studied medicine at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, graduating in 2001. He then completed his Family Practice residency at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Cannon has been practicing continuously in Crowley, Louisiana since 2004. Before joining Crowley Primary Care in 2014, he was a solo practitioner at Cannon Family Medicine. Dr. Cannon practices full spectrum family medicine inclusive of hospital and clinical medicine, sports medicine, and the treatment of ADHD.
In his free time, Dr. Cannon volunteers for the Southern Amateur Boxing Association, and works with the State Boxing Commission as a ringside physician. He is also the team physician for the Crowley High School Football team. He enjoys both playing and watching sports and is an avid LSU and Saints fan. He enjoys tailgating, carpentry, cooking, spending time with his friends and family and working alongside his colleagues!
